ENERGY LOSS DETECTION
Infrared thermography is a tool that can save energy in residential, commercial and industrial situations. The following applications demonstrate its unique abilities to troubleshoot energy loss problems.
- Insulation effectiveness: Insulation is used to stop the transfer of heat from one place to another. Infrared thermography shows its effectiveness. When used to survey roofs and walls, missing insulation can be found quickly. Places where walls lack insulation, leaks in door seals, heat loss from process heating applications and more can be found and then corrected.
- Leaks: Whether leaks are from steam, heat, water or cool air, they waste energy. An infrared camera can locate leaks that would normally be undetectable to the human senses.
Energy Surveys: Predictive Engineering Inc., perform comprehensive energy surveys mixing a broad range of different technologies and a crew of accredited professionals. Our Energy Audit Process is specially adapted to your property special needs with the goal to examine the ways the energy is currently used and to identify different alternatives for reducing energy costs, we do this by:
- Clearly identify the types and costs of energy use.
- Understand how that energy is being used and possibly wasted.
- Identify and analyze alternatives such as improved operational techniques and or new equipment that could substantially reduce energy costs.
- Perform an economic analysis on those alternatives and determine which ones are cost-effective for your property.
- Using high technology equipment to accurately measure and record the necessary data for further analysis.
